Week 2

Well, pretty damn good week, if I do say so myself! I lost 3.4 lbs! WOO HOO! I did NOT get my activity points, however. I just couldn't bring myself to get on the darn thing! I was just too exhausted! My goal, is 3 activity points still, for this week. I KNOW I can do it! I honestly didn't keep very good track of my points this past week, so I was VERY surprised to see I had a loss! I do NOT want to do that again, though. It's too easy to get sucked back into eating what I think is good, but end up gaining, instead!!

Week 1

My goals for this week have been accomplished!! I am so proud of myself! I received 3 activity points (WOO HOO!) AND I did not use my flex points. Let me tell you, it was NOT easy! I heard my husband out in the living room eating some chips or something and I wanted to get up and eat some SO BAD, but I didn't do it. I stayed in my room and read my book! A wise man recently told me to keep looking ahead to the end result of my goal when I feel I'm getting sidetracked. It sure worked this week!
I will continue with the goals I have, for now. As I become healthier, I will add more goals. I do not want to overwhelm myself all at once. I feel this is in my best interest for lasting results.

Ok, I'm going to succeed this time!

Well, I signed up for Weight Watchers Online, once again. My first goal is to stay within my daily allotment and NOT to use my flex points. Day one, I have accomplished this goal. Of course, a sandwich that I thought was good for me, turned out to be 13 points! My goodness, it should be illegal to have sandwiches that high in points!
My second goal, is to get at least 3 activity points a week. I got one tonight. I got on my Gazelle and 'walked' for 15 minutes. The doctor wanted me to start with 10 a day, but nope, I gotta push myself. Of course I accomplish this goal because I turn on the TV and watch something I like! Most of the time I do not notice the time passing.
My third goal, is to become more positive regarding my weight loss. It stated on the website to keep it in a positive light, like my heading. Not to say things like, I can't weight to not be heavy anymore. That's negative. I look forward to being healthy! ( That's more like it! )

Will I Ever Learn?

Well, when will it sink in that I am not perfect? That I am not invincible? That in order to lose weight, I need to put forth some kind of effort?
It will take some more time, but at least before I eat something I think about it. I know, that's not exactly what I should do, but, it IS a start!
The meals seem to be helping, if I eat them everyday and try to incorporate fresh fruits and veggies at some point! :)
I recently made a new friend through and she has been a godsend! She tries to make me see me for who I am right now, not what I want to be in the future! I'm glad she has come into my life! She is now my bestest friend in the whole world! Yup, we kinda had our first fight last night, but, I'm sure it'll the first of many! What's a journey of friendship without a few potholes along the way, right?
I hope to meet her in person at some point, but until then, Fairpoint Communications is going to LOVE my long distance calls everyday! HaHa

4.2 Lighter!!

Weigh-In was a success this week! I lost 4.2 lbs this past week! WOO HOO!! (doing a lil dance)

I did my darndest to stay on plan, and it worked! I was very cautious about what I was eating, as well as what was around me!

The meals seem to be working, as they did last time. It's hard for me to make my own meals sometimes....

The NASCAR race on Sunday was AWESOME! I saw the race in person and it was pretty cool! I met my favorite driver, Denny Hamlin, #11 Toyota, and it was the greatest euphoric experience of my life! He is down to earth and doesn't seem to have let the fame go to his head, yet!

Ummm, yeah

Yup, I fell off the wagon, just as Collette thought! LOL BUT, i've been climbing back on and trying to stay on track! It's so hard in the summer, too many cookouts! LOL

I bought the Hungry Girl cookbook, and have yet to make something. I get up at about 5 am and don't get back home until 8 pm! I'm too damn tired to cook at that point!

Going to Loudon, NH for the NASCAR race Sunday to see Denny Hamlin hopefully WIN! He's so cute! Ahhh, yum-o! My hubby tells me he's living with a 16 yr. old!

He is doing MUCH better! The Doc thinks it was some virus left over from the flu! Flu shots for BOTH of us next year! UH HUH!

Yes, I CAN do it!!

Just about the end of week 3 and I feel pretty good! I have been counting EVERYTHING and making sure I don't go over in points! I even received 3 activity points for the week! I bought a DVD for my Gazelle and have been doing that! I need to do it every other day but I just can't seem to get on it like I should. One more thing to work on, is all.
My hubby has been very sick since the end of February and I'm getting worried. The dr. sent him for a chest x-ray yesterday and we go back to the dr. on Thursday. He can't seem to shake this cough he has now!
I bought some whole wheat pita and some hummus and taboulli (sp) and when I eat half the pita and 2 TBSP each of the hummus and taboulli, it's only 2 points! I love it! I recommend it!
Oh, FiberOne bars are my favorite too! It's only 2 points for the Oats & Caramel one! WOO HOO! I'm getting the hang of this, slowly but surely!
